Launched to coincide with the release of Rod Stewart's 'Soul Book' album, this new multi-language Drupal 6 site makes particular use of Views, nodeblocks, and panels.

The home page panel features several carousels.

The main promo carousel utilises a Views slideshow plugin, and displays nodes of a custom 'promo' content type. The 'promo' content type has been configured with an image field as well headline and sub-line text fields whose output is then themed, via CCK, to be positioned at the bottom of the main image sitting above an alpha transparent PNG background.

The album promo carousel, meanwhile, utilises the jQuery UI carousel plugin, and provides users with an easy way to browse Rod's discography whilst also outputting links to play, watch, and purchase his music.
