I built Twiscovery primarily as a sandbox for experimenting with web technologies and data visualistion.

Based on Drupal 7, Twiscovery currently uses AJAX via a small custom module to query the Twitter REST API, retrieve a random sampling of recent public timeline tweets, and then display them to a user.

jQuery, CSS3, and HTML5 add further functionality and style.

Future plans for Twiscovery include:
- implementing Twitter's streaming API
- Google Maps (API) integration
- a fully responsive design
